Will any double-bass drum pedals fit on any electronic drum set?

Does any electronic kit able to upgrade to a double-bass pedal? I have a dd65/dk65 kit and I was wondering if any double-bass pedals will fit the drum throne? I was looking on the Taye PSK602C and seems like it should fit. Any thoughts? Good point, I tested the sound perimeter and it only concentrates on the center. So double-base will not work for my particular kit. Thanks.
My Brother in Law is a progressive rock drummer,
He has a Roland Electronic drum set up in the garage/recording studio in his townhouse. He uses a double bass pedal set up on his bass drum. It seems to work fine. I’ve played the set, too and used the double bass pedal on it. And I’m pretty sure the one he has is a standard type double bass pedal.
I’ve taken a look at the kit you have and at the pedal you are thinking of.
I’m a little concerned about the diameter of the bass drum trigger pad.
It should mount OK, but It look like a very small pad and the two mallets may not fit into the trigger pad very well. You should probably take a measure of the diameter of your trigger pad and determine the sensitivity all the way to the edges of it. It looks like two mallets would be a pretty tight squeeze.
The trigger on the Roland kit is much larger than the one you have.
If you have the dimensions of the trigger pad,
email Taye Drums with the dimensions and ask if the pedal you want will strike within those parameters.

most electronic kits have a rather small pad surface so a double pedal does not always work so well. My roomate has a roland TD-6 kit and he has 2 bass drum pads and 2 pedals which we “Y” together into the bass drum trigger input. This works very well and since the pads are much smaller than an actual bass drum it sets up easily and has much better response than a double pedal
Since you’ve figured out that double bass won’t work, try ordering another bass drum pad and hook up a double bass setup with two single pedals.
