Last week, I was very bored and I was searching through YouTube, I found this video on how to play drums. The keyword is “drums”. But, I think that learning it from a teacher is easier.
try watching some how-to-drum videos on youtube. Once you figure out how all of the different parts of the kit work together, you can then piece it all together. Listen to some of your favorite music and see how the drums sound. Listen for the bass drum, then the snare, the cymbals. It might take you a while, but if you keep trying you will get it eventually.
All you gotta do is put your mind to it. Practice practice practice.
Dont be affraid of mistakes, learn from them.
Be committed to it if you’re self-taught.
I taught myself guitar within 3 weeks but i wasnt motivated or committed until i found a purpose and goal for it.
My guitar sat around for 2 years before that happened.
Anyone can play a drum beat with a little practice. If you want to get really good, unless you are supremely dedicated at the art of drumming (practice day and night in other words), then a teacher will be most helpful in the long run. If you don’t practice, it will never be easy.

if you want to teach yourself watch youtube or get a book and practice the basic stuff till you can add in everything else!
