I have never been a fan of electronic drums, i think they are too flimsy and can break if you hit them hard. The real ones are louder and have more surface area for you to play on. Plus you can get good and maybe be in a band someday with them. People really only buy electronic drums for 2 main things, for recording purposes and to be quieter since they aren't as loud.
