Buy a cord that plugs into the drum kit with one end and into a tape recorder’s microphone port with the other. They can sometimes be a bit pricey, but the direct relay of sound provides superior sound quality. Then, you can plug the same cord into the tape recorder’s speaker jack and the other end into your computer’s microphone jack and play it back to relay the recording onto your computer.
