Can electronic drums today sound like the ones from the 80’s?

Can today's electronic drum sets sound like the ones from the 80's? Is there a certain way you can tune em or what? I want the snare to have like a csh sound when i hit it and all the other pads to have a bunch of funky noises when ya hit em. Or if you've ever listened to Dead Or Alive, an 80's band, and heard the drums in their music, thats what I want it to sound like. If anybody knows where I can buy one and knows exactly what the name of the drum set is, please let me know. Thanx a bunch.
You can make them sound however you want.You have on them presets sounds and customs sounds where you can set your own sounds!!!!
Roland’s better sets are probably your best bet. There are electronic pads that you can sample (record) a sound and when you hit a pad that sound comes out.
I don’t like Roland, but they are the best currently made. If you want an electronic set that sounds real, ddrum is the best.
